Time away 3: Bujagali over time

The first time I went to Jinja was when the volcano in Iceland was exploding and we saw the most fantastic rings around the sun. That was a trip to go rafting on the old section before Bujagali Dam went in. Little did I know that a year later I would have a job in Kampala and would go down there quite regularly. It was after nearly a year living and working in Kampala that I moved to the Jinja area and now Jinja is my home town ..
